About Your Teachers

Mrs. Spraggins

Hello, my name is Mrs. Spraggins and I am thrilled to have you in my 2nd grade classroom this year!  This will be my 14th year teaching here at Reeltown Elementary.  I am so excited to get to know each and every one of you but before I do here are a few things about me.

I graduated from Dadeville High School in 2001.  After high school graduation, I attended CACC for two years.  I then transferred to AUM where I received a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  After being in the classroom for two years, I decided to get my master’s degree in Elementary Education from Troy University.  I absolutely love teaching and thank God every day for putting me in a position to work with children.

I am married to Travis Spraggins and we have three kids.  We are members of First Baptist Church of Reeltown where we teach 5th-6th grade Sunday School.   We spend a lot of time at sporting events.  We love to cheer on our Reeltown Rebels and Auburn Tigers.  When we are not at a ball park, we enjoy spending time on Lake Martin fishing and camping with friends.  As you can tell we love the outdoors!

Ms. Baker

I’m Jacklyn Baker and this is my ninth year teaching.  I grew up in Clanton AL (Chilton County), and attended college at Alabama State University. I have a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I currently live in Montgomery with my two beautiful children Jala and Isaiah.  My daughter is a sophomore in college and my son is a sophomore in high school.  I am thankful for the opportunity to work in a nurturing, loving environment where children can learn and experience new challenges. I look forward to continued success and new discoveries with an amazing team of teachers at Reeltown Elementary School.
